Uniform
| At Rowena our Academy uniform consists of the following: Sweatshirts or Cardigans in Royal Blue Polo Shirts in White Trousers or shorts in Black or Grey Skirts or Pinafore Dresses in Black or Grey Blue Gingham Dresses Black shoes All children are expected to wear academy uniform at all times. Clothing with the Academy logo on is available to purchase from SPT Uniforms via their website: www.sptuniforms.co.uk. All children will be given one free sweatshirt when they join our Academy along with a Book Bag and a water bottle. Please ensure you label all school uniform and equipment, including coats, with your child’s name and class. The academy accepts no responsibility for lost items of clothing. PE Kit Our Academy P.E kit consists of: a plain white t-shirt and a pair of black shorts. All children will be provided with a free PE kit from the start of Reception. |
Jewellery
To keep children safe at school at all times, including social and active times, we ask that children do not wear jewellery in school. This includes stud earrings, as these can still pose a safety risk. As an academy, we always want to put your child’s safety first and know you will join us in that understanding.
To ensure that children’s ears do not reseal, we are happy for children to wear see-through spaces (various deals such as 150 pairs for £3 on Amazon). This way, children are kept safe at school whilst also being able to replace them with their earrings when back home.
No make-up should be worn in school (with the exception of fancy dress days/discos) and false/stick on nails should not be worn.
