Open Evenings
We hold an Open Evening in the Autumn Term where you can discuss how your child has settled in their new class, how they are progressing and any targets they are working on.
Open Evenings are an excellent opportunity to discuss your child’s learning journey with their teacher. It is also an important chance to discuss any barriers to learning that your child may be facing that we are unaware of.
The dates of Open Evenings will be circulated to parents through My Child at School (MCAS) text message and email or letter. Parents can then book a date and time for their meeting.
In the Spring Term we will either offer Open Evenings in the same way as the Autumn Term or sometimes this may be done in a different format, combined with Open Learning Mornings or Parent Information Meetings.
The type/format, dates and times of any Open Events will be communicated to parents in advance, via MCAS, email and/or letter.
We also hold regular Open Learning Mornings or Family Learning Events throughout the year, specific to different classes and year groups.
A written, annual report will be sent out in the Summer Term and parents will be given the opportunity to discuss these should they wish to.
